Got the Dolmar 116si alive and tuned.
Never seen a choke like that before.
No butterfly, just a twist lever that opens a port in the back of the carb.
Kinda like an old dirt bike?
This was a board I sold to a neighbor for a mantle.
I just let him pick it out. It was a sycamore plank with a little live edge on one side.
Sycamore is cool looking, but keeping it straight is a science experiment..
They’re gonna have to mill 1/2” off of em to get the sides back to parallel..
Although, the juniper May not mis-behave as bad as most of the stuff we got.
There’s a lot of directions going on in there.
Seems I’m keeping the local honey bees in business.
May put out even more next year. As they seem to be working the patch by the thousands every morning.
Part of that is folks like dogs, as do I, but nobody wants to be the one to deal with the ones that are a little sideways..
a dog can be a good pet, but a horrible farm dog. I had one. Junior was an impressive Boxer,,
Maybe 75 pounds of fur missle.. he’d kill anything ya needed killed.. and...
Jack is a chocolate lab.
And a bit of a dunce. Not all labs are created equal, so everything that should come natural to a dog like George and Levi’s lab Duke, seems to just be not natural to Jack and his ADHD.
He’ll eventually get it… If not, I’ll punt him to someone who has lower expectations..
