So I should heat the case attach the oil pump and drop the bearing in?

So I’m rebuilding this 024 AVS, and I got the bearings in but now I’m worried I may have done it backwards. Anyone that knows or that can help I would greatly appreciate it!

So I am replacing the bearings on this 024 AVS, how are the bearings oriented in the case? Is the open side face inside the crank or outside ?

So the original crank I accidentally stripped the threads some when I took the flywheel off! I read somewhere that the throw/pitch of the cranks were different so if I upgraded it to an 026 then I would need a new crank. I’m gonna attach better pics of my OEM p/c seems like they might be good...
