It’s not the neck that made most of it. The filter by itself was worth 10% cut times

    Saw/chain/log cut times

8x8 pine or poplar with a 70cc and good chain one cut should be under a second.

Knuckle saving bucking spikes - another Dolmar win

They don’t have to be offset. Flat will still work. I have a set Nate Cox made years ago that are like that

    Dolmar Factory Upgrade

I’d probably own a RS 7900 if I ever run into one

    CLEARCUT meets the 500i

I need something to replace the 34” Oregon I have but can’t bring myself to spend that much yet. Definitive Dave did have them or was getting them pretty regularly

    Another chainsaw dyno...

I tested a *s-word ton of fuels and with these short stroke saws with compression ratios of about 7.8-8.3 :1 87 was always fastest. Cants with the same chains and milling cuts 4’ long all showed the same. Test saws were ported with 185-210 psi on a gauge. Map them out by chamber and everything and...

Tires are outrageous for those bigger tractors. Mine came with trelloberg and I’m sure it won’t get the same when I have to replace them

I can believe it. Deere 55 series are about that price. And 3155 are over $30k. I’m a big Ford fan in the older stuff and a 7840 if you can find one is retarded priced.

That was my issue finding a good used tractor that the bank thought was worth half of what the price was. It was easier to buy new and not argue with the banks to finance something.

I’ve got to go check fences soon. We got 3-5” of rain and I have fence across a creek that gets up quick

That was my last tractor. It was a Perkins 3 cylinder with turbo at 65 hp and it was a good tractor after the main hydraulic pump was replaced at 330 hours. I wanted enough pto HP to run a small grinder if we find one. I’m trying to get into backgrounding light weight calves from 3/400 to...

We have a good dealer for them and Kioti. Kioti was too close to Massey price wise so I went with Massey instead. It’s done everything I’ve asked well except pull a 6 ton fertilizer buggy. It was under powered for that.

I wanted an older Ford/New Holland 66-7810 4x4 but I got the new one for less cash down and bought more calves with the savings. 0% for 84 months was nice. I looked at the LS in the 82 hp model with a 4 cylinder but reviews are all over the place. It was low $40k for the 4x4 cab with loader though.

One of their mechanics told my friend who was looking at 65-85 hp tractors the workmaster and A are lighter duty transmissions and the 3 cylinder on them goes all the way to 100 hp as well but has no guts.

Deere was $20k more for the same HP. Kubota was way lighter. Case and New Holland we’re about the same price but I hadn’t heard much good about their A series and the workmaster series.
