    Walnut shells are a good alternative, not as abrasive.

    Bead on lower pressure. Clean every thing with hot soapy water when done (helps ensure all glass residue is gone). Like said earlier watch closely for any degradation to any plating.

    Another question, I have a 16" on the 50 special 18" on the 55 rancher and a 20" on the 266. Is that where I should stay? or is there some other combination I can (should) use?

    Hello Folks, I am new here. Just wanted an opinion from more experienced cutters. I own 3 Husqvarna saws a 50 special, a 55 rancher and a 266xp is there anything I need to watch for on these saws as they are all getting up there in age. Thanks
