My neighbor told me he wold let me get one of his saws from him- its either a stihl 046 or 044- has a cracked fuel tank. The guy rarely comes thru for me but by some slim chance he does-- REALLY slim, what would be a real good deal for me for that saw- not a fair deal or a steal of a deal...

I did end up ordering one from him and having it shipped elsewhere to get some work done on it He does seem like a good fella to deal with- pleased with the purchase & will be buying other stuff from him for sure

As infrequently as I use a saw, I am going to just drain the oil from the reservoir and see how that goes -I might just try cracking the cap first, I always do that with the fuel unless I am going to use it again in a short time then run it dry. Never did it with the oil cause of the thicknees...

Market was REALLY high before Obama got put in office. When I started my restoration cars like mine were going for close to double what I got for it in '13. If you would have had it for sale back then you would have got what you wanted EASILY.
