Give it a try and see if it works with Dirko. It works with Permatex RTV sealants. I keep the Red High Temp, Blue RTV, and Ultra Black in the garage/beer fridge and it keeps them fluid.

When I do dozer and equipment work in the summer, we occasionally build retention ponds and diversion dikes for farmers. Whenever the NRCS is involved, it takes a lot longer, with more BS to get the same job done. Over engineered and over governed on the projects for sure. They waste more time...

This. A lot of people underestimate round filed chisel chain. It can hold its own, like you said, when done correctly.
