A Barrett brother with a Creamsicle?? The heck you say!

Take the air filter off and post a pic mostly the left side. The right side is fine I can see the part the air filter cover rides in. See if the left side has the plastic tab and where the filter cover rides. A pic of what you're looking for. Crappy pic but it's the only pic I have that...

A Barrett brother with a Creamsicle?? The heck you say!

Mine is torn down on the bench, for a new fuel line and general cleaning. I might have to send you a pm when I try to fix that crack, for advice. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk

    What's on your bench?

Finished fixing the Husqvarna 6021p push mower for my neighbor. Been sitting a few years and it had congealed gas in the carb. Took it apart and cleaned it, so now it starts on first or second pull. Gave it back to him yesterday, so now I can actually get to my bench in my shed/shop...

A Barrett brother with a Creamsicle?? The heck you say!

It's hard to tell by the pics, but look at pic 1. The choke lever mount on the right side, is it cracked. Here is a pic of my 024 handle. Mines cracked all the way thru. The dark line is the crack. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk

    What's on your bench?

Today I had three saws on the bench. Two Wild Thing's, and a Poulan Pro 295. 1st Wild Thing just needs a fuel line, carb kit, proper tune, and some cleaning. I don't like dirty saws. 2nd Wild thing and the 295 I need to check out fully. Not sure what the issue is with them. Was also...

    What's on your bench?

Tore my Homelite XL 12 all the way down. Going to need new rings, but I think I can save the cylinder and piston. Bad news is the coil ground a groove in the flywheel. Flywheel is trash. If I can get the drive rivets out that hold the coil in place, and replace them with machine screws...

    What's on your bench?

The XL-12 still needs alot more cleaning, but I'd thought I would do something fun today. Roughly 30 minutes polishing the handle. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk

    What's on your bench?

So what was on the bench today.? Another Homelite. Homelite XL-12. I've had this one for about 5 years, but who knows how many years it was sitting at my neighbors dad's house. He rescued it from a scrap pile. His son has the twin to it. This was the last saw my dad worked on before he...

    What's on your bench?

I bought this saw back in 2013. With shipping it was $20. Thought it was a Homelite Super EZ Automatic. It's actually a Homelite EZ, with manual oiler only. This one will be on and off my bench as I find parts for it. It will take awhile, because I'm cheap, and this saw needs alot...

    What's on your bench?

Still have the MS170 and 024 on my bench. Why aren't they done.? Ordered a oem old style fuel line for the 024, and a farmer tec flywheel puller. They came in and I was ready to finish the saw. Walked out my front door, took one step, and next thing I know I'm at the bottom of the steps...

    Stihl T27 Torx T-handle

Hard to tell by the crappy pic, but I have them lined up perfectly. By the time you get down near the end, the bow is bad enough to put a screwdriver tip in between them. I tried using it and the bow isn't noticeable in use. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk

    036 kits

You probably already found this out. One of the Meteor kit ads on ebay says; You need to use a spacer with the 034 saws. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk

    036 kits

I'm thinking about building one, but it will be a couple of months until I order one, if I do. I believe Walt built one. I know Matt built one @Mattyo He has a 5 segment series on YouTube under Matthew Olson. From memory. I probably will forget some stuff. Missing parts: 1) Screw for...

    What's on your bench?

Decided to pull the clutch on my 024AV, to clean under it. Glad I did. The bolts that hold the plate on that covers the oil pump were barely finger tight. New rule. Any used saw I buy gets torn most of the way down to check for damage, and loose bolts. Sent from my LGLS775 using Tapatalk
