The only way I could see you running that setup would be the 390 top end and a healthy muffler modification. Even then, you'll probably need full skip chain. And you better keep that chain sharp.

Those style seals have an integral shield supposed to keep debris away from the actual sealing surface. With that being said, those are the only kind of seals I have ever had trouble with. I would not use them. Just my .02

Yeah, I just got a new 3/8-8 tooth rim sprocket from Sunbelt. It also says Archer on it. We'll see how long it lasts. By the way, DAMN that thing is wore out!!
