I've got a 288 here that I'm wanting to sell . It's not running but I believe it's complete .
It runs for a second if I give it a little fuel but then dies. I bought it to rebuild and haven't gotten to it. I can get a compression test tomorrow. Shoot an offer r , I've been out of the saw game...
I need some money for another project . First is a Stihl 460 I believe everything is there minus a few screws or other smalls . Cylinder looks, good piston is decent imo. $150 plus shipping. Sold
SOLD. Next saw is a Stihl 193t . Needs a cleaning but looks fairly solid . Piston looks pretty...
Stihl 046 . New oem bearings and seals . Caber rings . I put about 2 tanks and counting since rebuild . Original piston still in it that is not perfect but is good condition. $400 plus shipping . Pho
I'm going to go ahead and start a thread on those saws I posted about in the what's on your bench thread. 2 Stihl Ms 460's and a 046 . I plan on selling at least 2 of them and maybe all 3. :)
Does anybody have any experience with a cracked head in a smaller diesel ? These are extremely obsolete engines apparently . The cylinder was full of coolant . I pressurized the water passage beside it and it blew a lot of bubbles from the crack . Any cheap fixes ?
Are there any electrical experts on here?
I have a question on grounding my breaker panel on my off grid power system.
The panel on the right is going to be power into the inverter from the generator. The one on the left is power going to my house and pole barn .
Stihl 026 pro . Mostly complete except the muffler screws and the front bar stud . Clutch side bearing is bad . Handle has a piece of pipe holding it together. Piston will need replaced as well . Cylinder has a bit of transfer but I'm sure it will clean up . PayPal F F or add the fee . 150.00 obo .
How do you guys tie off when setting trusses ? I'm guessing there's some builders on ope . I'm asking because some trusses collapsed on a amish crew here.
I've got a Stihl ms290 that's blowing oil everywhere while running. It's dripping pretty bad and blowing oil out the top front of the clutch cover. The inside of the clutch cover is extremely wet after running a minute or so. Any body experienced this ?
