    Wanted : falling belt/wedge pouch/suspenders rig

I use the weaver fallers belt. I bought the bare belt. I use the cheap Madsen's nylon wedge pouch. Hold 4 10" Madsen's blue ox wedges. Use another wedge pouch to carry a spare wedge and chain, files. I tuck my council 20" miners between back pad and belt center rear. Never like the axe handle...

    .325 vs 3/8 vs.404 race chain

I see one of those nice stihl chain boxes in that pic @Wilhelm. I really do like them. Fits well in my wedge pouch to be able to carry a spare chain when falling timber. For when the dirt, rocks or barb wire jump out a hit my chain

There may be some contract climbers in your area. Good place to find them is on the tree buzz forum.

    Trees you've cut

A few white pines from a month or so ago. Rigged the cherry out of the taller pine spar. Worked pretty well as I was flying solo. Beat rigging it down in small pieces over the bushes that are just out of the picture on the right side

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

I use to coil ropes and did so for most of my tree career. Now I use these bags from gap arborist https://www.gaparboristsupply.com/Gap-Arborist-Supply-Heavy-Duty-Rope-Bag/item/90-50-0147-RD. They hold well durability wise and stand up well to feed your rope in. I wrap my lower strap above the...

    Trees you've cut

I thought you were going to say because of the size of the powerhead. That a 400c with a 55" bar and 1/4 chain would be better.

    Trees you've cut

I got the 780 from @NightRogue in Malaysia. Did some work to it to make it more or less an 880. Did the 361 ignition module and an ht-12 carb. Mine has the slim profile rear tank handle that they say is for milling. 1124 350 0826. Which i really like and wish more saws came with something...

    Tillotson hs

As far as i know the numbers stamped on the carb are for identifying the specific design of the base model of carb. The jets would have to be figured out by measuring or possibly the parts lists.

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

Yes I am a climber. Been an owner/operator for the past 10 years or so. Doing tree work for almost 20years. I am around Frederick. That makes sense then if you are trying to run the standard 64 dl loop for a 12" bar. Guess thats why i had no problem just added a link.

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

@Ketchup I didn't have to make a new hole or elongated the tensioner hole. Not sure if guys where trying to run 64DL chain and thats why? I use 65dl chain with no issues

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

@NateSaw I didn't take it that way. Was just wondering as I know quite a few tree guys in the central md area. Some guys never really want to think outside the box on saws ,rigging or most things for that matter. I think you would be happy with the 2511 with 1/4 pitch bar and chain as a...

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

Stihl also makes a 3005 mount 14" 1/4pitch .050 gauge regular rollomatic e bar part # 3005 000 6409 dont know how well it would fit, just throwing it out there.

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

@Woodpecker yes the bar is direct fit. You would have to add a drive link to the chain though. Here is the part number for the bar 3005 000 3205. It is 1/4" pitch .050 gauge 12". Dime tip hard nose. The chain would be 13rm 65DL 1/4" sprocket is echo number A556-001710

    Echo 2511t.. Thoughts?

@NateSaw Who do you work for? I run my 2511 with a stihl carving bar and 1/4 .050 chain. Not a fan of the panther chain. I bought one of the Egan performance pipes for mine. Have not used enough yet to have a solid opinion on the pipe.
