I hear that brother. It's not near as productive to make a second cut where one is achievable. I just like less resistance and stress on my saws. 28" is what my 066 usually wears (aside from the occasional use milling)

I'd look into the neotec farmac pro line if I was you. The price point is great and all the parts upgrades have already been done. They Are more powerful than their stihl/husqvarna counter parts out of the box.

28" is a long bar for a 462

You have to sharpen more often. It's 2/3 the teeth doing the same amount of work
