    394 club

394 and 395 are very similar in performance, I wouldn’t say one is better than the other. I like both of them.

    Wanted Oregon LGX chain

The old h48 chain? Yeah that one is really similar to lgx, maybe a slightly shorter tooth if I remember right. A swipe or two off the raker and a little touch up and it cuts nicely.

Low RPM torque/throttle response felling saw

The 920 cylinder looks like a 288’s with the lowers feeding thru the piston. The 930 is closed port still but has the lowers open to the case like a 372.

Low RPM torque/throttle response felling saw

They don’t know how to file.

Low RPM torque/throttle response felling saw

272 more torque than 372? o_O I found the opposite to be true. The stroke of the 272 is 2mm shorter than the 372.

What is the point of a 70cc saw…

It’s a good saw… but it’s not perfect. The silly plastic oiler control bolt last me about 6 months logging before it starts loosing oil output. I can name a few other negatives but that’s just one.

    Nice work

    Show off your muffler mods

Yeah I don’t think the 572 muffler is stainless.

    Show off your muffler mods

Nutserts look neat and clean but I find don’t hold up long term on the thin husky mufflers. They work for a few months before the muffler cracks around the nutserts. Brazing or weld I find to be more permanent. Just my experiences.

Nice work Jason. Some tight rings on those trees.

    Old 395xp rattle = big rod/crank bearing?

When the rod end is blue like that it’s usually not a good sign. Just my opinion.

Low RPM torque/throttle response felling saw

I like the walbro wj117 carb on the 288. Has a nozzle in it.

Low RPM torque/throttle response felling saw

Those are a good running saw too. I enjoyed the one I had. Power really not that much different between all of them.
