Ive got drama,s with the 009 oil pump not pumping oil and the diaphragm is NLA ive got 5 saws all have trouble pumping oil this guy did this , will it work , welcome your in puts Peter

well ordered all my hoses , and gaskets, filters ,plug for me 038 mag OEM stuff apart from the intake manifold , got a Hyway one as a back up chatted with a couple of guys that have it the Hyway and said there ok hopefully this week the fun starts Peter

Morning all just cleaned all my parts for the 038 Magnum 72cc rebuild waiting on the donor saw to turn up to get the 52mm cylinder did notice one thing the RUBBER MANIFOLD BOOT for the saw from stihl is $69AU , wow so was hoping some one on here nows where i can get one and delivered to...

one guy said this to me "why make it overbore with a small case that cant feed the larger top end properly? you need to look at more than just the CC of the cylinder. The case volume and carb designed for a much smaller saw is not going to work well" whats your thoughts Peter

Thanks for that info , much app it so if i got another cylinder weather OEM or after market would the 272 cylinder fit my case , seeing mine is the first generation of the 61 , what else would i need to complete the saw and get it running

Is there any diff between the 1981 and later model 61,s , white top and later were orange , just want to make sure the 272 cylinder will fit the earlier case , so if any one has a stuffed 272 cylinder please let me know , rather find out now before i buy new parts, pics have been added in the...

Got given this 61 runs but cuts out like not getting fuel or sucking air so going to check carby and oil seals , plug looked very lean as in grey colour
