I was seriously considering building a Gorillabac. I think we've decided not to now. Even though I hate it, vertical mode on the splitter works for large rounds, no more large than I usually deal with. I do noodle frequently too though, and dont mind it.

I had read either here or AS that Honda was going to discontinue HP2. I never found any other info about it anywhere else. Honda hasn't even made a 2 smoker in several years so i think they probably will. It did seem easily available on Amazon when I was looking though.

Today, I finished the bucking up, then baby sitted the smoker and help load the trailer. She did do like 95% of the busting and probably 50% of the trailer loading too. Felt strange for me to cook while she worked but oh well lol. 4th and final load for the day.

Any updates on how the Gorillabac is holding up? I'm wanting one strictly for my TSC 40ton splitter. Im sure I could build one heavier duty, but for my purposes I think the Gorillabac will be fine. They aren't exactly cheap though. Are they worth the $$$?
