    SHOW ME YOUR AXES

Not the best fit in the world when it comes to handles, but I found my old Kelly under some old wood the other day and decided to chuck a new handle on it. I bought the head from a farmer 40 years ago for a fiver. I have no idea of it's age all I know is it's a nice weight for splitting and in...

    Anybody else see this?

When I see politicians of any ilk put forward proposals like this my first thought is always "Follow the money". You can bet somewhere there is someone pushing for this who has a financial interest in banning them. Whether they be a manufacturer of battery powered crap or mining interests there...

    In an idiot

I'm pretty sure at some point in time most of us have done that, or thought it had fuel and didn't... But by the same token you also have to wonder how many saws have been skidder modified or tossed down a gully for the same reason.

    Jesse's 390---the sequel

It's not being chicken at all. Most of us have seen what can go wrong in an instant, and not having the confidence in your saws ability to stay running or deliver full power right when you need it the most is extremely daunting.

    Jesse's 390---the sequel

@Spike60 the area I have tried to underline in red is what they are claiming is sharpie, also the "Lack of carbon" proves you are all liars..., Their words no mine.

    Jesse's 390---the sequel

I'm not subbed to his channel but can still see and comment so not sure what the go is there.

The forestry and logging pictures thread

It's a daily occurrence here, and the government does SFA to protect the loggers, depending on which political party is in power at the time it's almost encouraged by the government.

The forestry and logging pictures thread

I'm curious do you guys in the States and Canada have much trouble with the green nut jobs chaining themselves to your gear or climbing trees and slinging hammocks and platforms to stop you logging?

    Nice Story

Many a mans life has been turned around by being given the right kind of direction, whether it be through successful rehabilitation in a prison setting or through military service. And then there are those who no matter what they are offered will always look for the easy way out and slip back...

    Jesse's 390---the sequel

If it's not a rude question what did that set you back as I got a price from BBR for an axe a while back that made me nearly choke. I was quoted $350 delivered to Australia.

    Jesse's 390---the sequel

@Spike60 and @Jesse Bills in the comments on the latest Plastic Ass video there is an allegation that the saw can't have been run for any length of time and that you couldn't possibly have tried to cut 3 trees down because in the pictures shown on the forum (here) there are still sharpie marks...

    Jesse's 390---the sequel

If you watch the video you will see at the end that the new P&C he sent for the 371 is another hyway one, and he sent it because "He wasn't happy with how the saw runs with the cylinder he sent it back to BBR with. And if you look closely when BBR is showing it and espousing the virtues of the...

    Jesse's 390---the sequel

Not sure if you noticed when BBR was flashing the new cylinder around that the intake port looks nice and smooth compared to the one he hacked up for Jesse.

Get a load of this!?!? *the little Solo is back*

That's disappointing to see, looks like it was a nice unit before the couriers played foolsball with it.

    Chainsaw fixing school

I learnt a lot from my father who was a mechanic, so it just seemed natural for me to follow in his footsteps. I started rebuilding mowers when I was about 10, collecting old junkers from around the neighbourhood and fixing them to use to mow peoples lawns and to sell for buying tools and parts...

    Maybe.....

I can relate Randy, I use to admin a brand specific motorcycle forum here in Aus. I used to think teenage girls were *b-wordy, but admining a forum soon make you realise they are just amateurs. It's hard to just walk away when you have skin in the game so to speak, but sometime your health, both...

    Redneck Chainsaw Repairs

Old fella who used to do the fencing on the property I use to live and work on (R.I.P Billy) was a right old tight arse and didn't believe in buying new gear unless he really had to. He used to sit and weld the rails on his saw with hard facing rods then grind them to keep them going.
