Haven't posted on here in awhile but figured I would share this with folks. Nice parts or repair McCulloch CP70 for sale on ebay. It's a five day auction.

Thanks Steve, and yeah I definitely did. Anytime I wanted to go cut with a Mac I brought the sp81. Looking back I probably didn't need to buy the cp70. Which is also why I want to rehome it so it doesn't continue to sit. It sure looks nice on display though!
Hoping to get some input from folks here. I'm going to end up letting go of my SP81 and my CP70 and was wondering what they are fetching for prices these days. The SP81 runs and cuts great and still looks pretty good too. I've done a little work to it but it didn't need much. The CP70 is a...
Does anyone know if the 088 oil pumps can be used on the 084? Other than the piston pump having a longer stroke on the 088 pump they look about the same. I think one of the plastic spur gears might be a little different buts that not a big deal.
Thought folks would enjoy seeing these photos. Some helicopter logging above the middlefork of the clearwater in north-central Idaho.

One random thought of the day out of many for me ,"I wonder if sasquatch is really out there and are they watching us?"

Mark it sounds like you have some unseen damage in the high speed circuit of that carb or a crudded up spark arrestor screen. Other than doing a pressure/vac test like you mentioned and looking at the piston thru the exhaust I would check the screen on the muffler and think about trying a...
Got this 075 that I'm currently building. Posted a little on the other site but I'm using a later model 075 crankcase that has the brake ears for the brake handle. Other than being dirty it ended up being in pretty good shape. I'll re-use most of the parts on other than the crankcase and...
I'm a little late to the party but can someone provide an updated link to their gofundme page? The one I clicked didn't work. There's also the possibility I can't read or pay attention for sh!t.

Understand. That's what I've come to find out, or they got yanked off there and tossed. I should probably quit putting it off and go out to the shop and make one. Probably make a couple better dawgs for it while I'm at it. That's one thing that has baffled me with those saws, Homelite made these...
Duke, would you happen to have a muffler cover and cap for one of those 900/990 saws? I got a 900D that I fixed up a couple months ago that has the newer style muffler base like the one in the attached diagram. It has no cover and holy hell is it loud! I had figured that I was going to have to...
Alrighty. I'll be able to have a look at it on Friday. I'll get back to you with more info and photos at that time.

I don't have it in my shop but I know a guy who has a 462 parts saw with a good tank. Pretty sure the top end got smoked and possibly the crank too.

That sounds about right Al, I have a Super 55 and a 1-70 and those take the larger spark plug. Have any photos of that '77 F-250?
