All three saws ran well. The clone was a surprise. The 266xp is pristine with the original bar and chain but the pull handle was changed for a better grip. It seemed pretty even with the 6100 but was much louder and more vibration.

Need a starter side screw and bushing for the brake handle on the 6400-7900 series saw. Thanks Tim

Haven’t run this for a while, and was probably cutting bigger than it’s size class but it didn’t miss a beat. If it weren’t for all you evil enablers on these forums, I’d probably still be happy with this and my Stihl 029 Farm Boss thinking they were both top of the line saws.

I recently had a 50 inch diameter white oak tree uproot during a wind storm and demolish my cottage when it landed on it. Another white oak about 37 inches in diameter also fell but missed the cottage. The saw I will be using to buck up the trees is a Makita 6401 with the NWP big bore kit...
