Just ordered new carb linkage. Maybe that will fix it.

I got a 041 that runs great after you get it started. The problem is when you set the throttle lock for first start it does not open the butterfly any on the carb.. Yes the linkage has a little slop in it.anyone else run into this? Thank you.

I got some from Mark. They are old new stock.I just wanted to put fresh new seals in. Not some that are 50 years old. Just thought there might be a cross over chart somewhere.

I got some S N oil seals That I need to replace. I can not find a cross over chart for S n oil seals. I guess they are out of business. I got a S n 470203 and a 450908 . Can anyone help with a good # for these seals? Thank you as always.

Yes I should have done that first .

Thank you guys Got to put new crank seals in it. can't get it to idle . It goes up and down. Already rebuilt the carb and bench tested it. Replace all carb gaskets to the cylinder. Hope the seals fix the surging.

A guy I know brought me a XL12 saw to work on. It would not start . Puled the plug out and I have never seen a plug like it before. It was safe the side of a standard plug and had a small rubber cap that went over a little spike looking electro. I cleaned the funny plug and it cranked right up...

I do have the steel one. Thank you. Is there a rebuild kit for the primer pump?
