Makita 7910 made in Japan?

saw sticker on 7910 said Japan? Are the 7900 Makita made in Germany? I thought these were both German made Dolmar

I'd say made in Germany unless they changed very recently. Both mine are German made.

Hamburg/Germany made, but Makita/Japan owned!

I think I have noticed that the stickers no longer say "Made In ---"

was thinking of getting one Baileys has powerhead for $711. was going for new ms462 but stumbled on the deal at Baileys?

It wouldn't surprise me if they changed production to Japan. I have some little TH Makitas made in Japan that are not sold in the states.

They've moved some production to China. The new 4300s are coming from there, I think the smaller stuff too.

It's Germany's own fault, they elected there politicians, soon more and more will be leaving or switching to battery power.
