That's badazz. Is that your own deflector, or do you have a source for them?I like to gut it and make a big single outlet.

Hi guys, first post.
I have a broken bottom bolt on my bucking spike, on my 394.
Can someone tell me how deep the bolt hole is? My bolt is broken off about an 1/8" in the bolt hole, and I do not want to drill too deep.

Hello RI, I have not done anything yet. I was going to get a left hand drill bit and try that first.
I just wanted to get an idea how long the bolt was, so I do not drill too deep.

That sounds right. Those threads are about 3/4” deep.

Get compression up. 180-200.
Get timing in the 97-100 range on exhaust, 115-120 range on transfers and 78-85 range on intake and you’ll be in the mix.
Find a way to move more air and match it with more fuel and you won’t be disappointed.
Show up with your saw whether it runs or not and you’ll have a blast.

You guys are awesome, I hope to make It. I am retiring in April an will have more time for saws.
Buy the way I just cut firewood , and have 5 pro saws, the $25 394 gets used the most.
