Nice find.
If you order I suggest you order a new throttle shudder too. And for two more bux a new spring and spring bushings ( the bushings I got are plastic)
I haven't heard from VE Peterson yet so maybe I will have to call them. Sounds like parts aren't too expensive so I will likely get some extras to keep here as spares.

Yes... I am a hoarder:comp4:

Make sure you’re talking to Al when you do call.

Okay thanks for the advice. When I call, will the person that answers the phone know who I mean when I ask to speak to Al?

I think so.
My experience is that Jeff defers to Al for Tillotson items.

Good thinking on their end, much easier to swap in a new shaft. So the shaft really was too small for the hole! I was kinda joking when I wrote that ha.

I Called the Tilly America number
Spoke to a nice guy at VE Peterson’s
They had everything in stock for a HS 163A on the 266SE.

Bushings, 49 cent each
Return Spring, 89 cents
New Shaft, $5.50

I didn’t ask what shipping was. I’m hoping it’s less than $5

So the throttle shaft in the States is $5.50. There is a company here in Canada that sells the carb parts and that same throttle shaft is $55.28!!

I found the email address for AL Sattler on the VE Peterson personnel list so I sent him an email just now regarding the parts I am looking for. Hopefully he send these parts to Canada.
