A 460 cylinder is shorter than a 395 & 660. They make a 54mm big bore.

Little update, not much has happened lol.
I'm starting to come to the conclusion that I'm biting off more than I can chew but I'm going to keep forging on and course correct as we go.

Neither the 395 or the 066 BB cylinders are going to be a good fit, evening if I made an adapter plate. The cylinder on the Solo is significantly shorter than both the 395/066BB cylinders because the case is acting as the lower transfers. I estimated the 066 cylinder would have to be decked at least 0.200" before I even add an adapter.

For those reasons I've decided to look for an alternate P/C. It's still not going to be bolt on but should get me a lot closer. The donor saw is a Solo 690. I have short block with P/C on it's way.

The challenge is still going to be fitting the 690 on the 667 case. They are similar but not the same. Also, the 690 has a 42mm stroke. Luckily is has a 12mm wrist pin and a 55mm bore so a 390xp piston might be interchangeable if needed. Of course the 690 crank comes with the short block so if I need to use it I can. I already found the bearing journal on the two cranks are the same diameter.

I'm not sure that a 390XP piston would be an option with either crank (667 or 690). They both use the 12mm wrist pin with a very thin wrist pin bearing and the 390XP piston uses a 13mm wrist pin.
