My Stihl 064 flywheel has two sets of numbers. 1122 400 1203 /1 and 1122 400 1204 /2. There is only one keyway.

Coil is Prüfex / CDIC 108 1a but it is broken.

What do two sets of numbers on a flywheel mean. What is the right ignition coil for this flywheel.

The carburettor is the Walbro WJ-41. The Stihl 064 saw has a frame number of 128679578.

thank you

If it's a single key flywheel with the 1122 400 1204 number on it, then that likely means it is timed for the
rev-limited CDIC coil (1122 400 1303). So unless you want to replace the flywheel you'll need to find another
working CDIC coil.

You could also replace or re-time the 1204 flywheel and use the universal (0000 400 1300) coil.

Hey,

There was a mistake in my previous post. The numbers 1 and 2 were upside down in the flywheel number series
Here they are correctly 1122 400 1203/2 and 1122 400 1204/1.

When the flywheel has only one keyway, the designation 1122 400 1204/1 means that the flywheel has 1122 400 1204 and a suitable new coil is no longer available????

If I buy a new flywheel and spool, what are their spare part numbers? What means .... re-time the 1204 flywheel...

I’ve got a flywheel with both numbers on the back, both an X and P cast into the front, but only one keyway cut.

JMS installed it on my 064 with a dogleg coil. Ran great but bit me so bad on startup a few times I had to stop talking to it.

Here’s the factory pic for the combos.

I have no X and P entries. See pictures.

So if I buy a flywheel 1122 400 1203 and a reel 0000 400 3000 then the parts fit both mechanically and electrically.

Does anyone have images of the flywheel
1122 400 1203,
1122 400 1204,
1122 400 1206,
1122 400 1207

With one or two keyways.

I'd like to see where the keyways are relative to the magnets.
