Everlast has alot of units on sale for black Friday. Ordered the I-mig 200 shipped for $689!

Was looking at the multi-process welders but none of the affordable ones had AC tig. So later on ill get a nice tig machine.

This is an 09 with lots of hours of heavy aluminum 3/4” plus I do a lot of heavy equipment repairs.

Transformers are nice but having some the extra features of the inverters plus the difference in power consumption is a huge bonus.

We have invertec 350 pro’s too, awesome machines. Can’t tig aluminum with em though

Inverters are nice until you blow a card and it costs more to replace the computer board then to replace the machine....lectricity ams cheap...welders are like saws...each one is the best at its mission profile....but no ONE is best for all Missions. You might need more then ONE welder ....who is cray cray enough to only have ONE saw anyway...sheesh.

I thought we were friends Angelo....
We are....I just dont have a "deeter" support team. It's an insult to hacks to call me a "hack". When I grow up I'm gonna be a hack....so I need "miller customer service" ..
Holy crap. Those guys helped me with a 35 year old welder like it was the ONLY thing they had to do. I've only used a little 130 Lincoln mig and it worked great. I haven't tried any of the "GYNah" inverters yet so cant really say much fer them. My MM200 makes me look like I have a clue.

Did I mention I paid $125 for it because it was junk. Sent it out for 450 and completely runs like brand new now. I wanna get a little maxstar just because they're so cute....

Ya mind calling my better half and telling her that. I would appreciate it. Just asking.
Dude, I been in "Sales" all my life....give her my number. I will hook a brotha up....

Have you tried the "how many purses do you have ?" thing yet...."Shoes" works too. I would only use those if backed into a corner and only for special situations.... conventional "warfare" with women is useless. When you go...GO GUERILLA !!!

of course you could use the reverse technique where you show her the "income possibilities" of said planned income generating "tool"....buy her shoes with money earned from using the new welder/saw/widget...That's like a "magic trick" though and has to be attempted with "Straight face" acting....not for the weak of soul....

I have others if needed... ;)

I've got a Millermatic 251 that has been through hell and back. I love that thing. I've always wanted to learn how to tig weld and I had a decent sized project at work that I needed to do so I purchased a Vulcan 165 from HF. It served me well. I then picked up a Primeweld 225 and am really loving that machine. Some day I'd love to get a Dynasty.

Once you learn tig you'll never go back.

Generally I am either welding dirty steel and use my Tombstone with 6011 or I am welding 16-20ga stainless. The 251 doesnt get out much anymore.

Well my wife loved it! Got her a new cart to go with her new welder too.

This thing is amazing! I haven't used it on 240 yet but it welds phenomenal on 120 so i can only assume it is bad azz with 240.

Steve, those are some good lookin welds there sir.

Does anyone have a suggestion on what type of tig torch I should run off my Bobcat 250? Never tig welded before could use some advice.

Really need water cooled or over 125 amps.

0-125 you can go 17 series air cooled

90 and under the WP9 air cooled.

For 0-250 amps I like the 23, which is the same physical size as the 9 but liquid cooled. I like CK Worldwide brand. They can handle more amps than their counterparts of the same size. At least with the 23, I can weld at 300 amps all day without issue. The ports in the head are larger than other brands.

Personal favorite is the CK230 flexhead with CK lines (mandatory-different connectors).

An air cooled 200 amp with a valve also called a 26 would be my choice CK makes some nice torches so does Tec Torch. You don’t have to go water cooled after 200 amps anymore there’s 500 amp air cooled torches now, the draw back is the size.

Hey steve! I have been very happy with my everlast welder. I actually sold a sa200 and a g8000 because I can run anything I need off of 2 2200 hondas and my 200 everlast stick on 120v. No more needing equipment to load the welder up! Cj

I see where theres an option on torches for a flex head. I can see the benefit of that In some situations. But is there any downfalls to a flex head? Thanks for the advice guys.

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

They are great until they aren’t, it’s just copper tubing in there flexing so you only have so many times it can flex. Another option is the flex loc by CK or i-head by Tec Torch they allow you to put the head in any position.
