Gave my older brother a hand to get a few blocks of firewood in his old Hilux the other day it's not his daily just an old unloved workhorse.
The wood is old dry hard as stone Ironbark some of it has been dead standing 25years plus..
The old Hilux does good burnouts even with a load of firewood! lol
It's running a 1KZ 3L diesel turbo with custom top mount intercooler..

Yeah it's dry here with fires all up and down the east coast with no sign of let up and it's not even summer yet!.

Nice truck! Wish they sold them here in the states.:(
It's a 93 Hilux I think you guy's got em over there called a Tacoma but mostly petrol and crapy column shift?
Ya flat out even giving a Hilux away over here if it's a petrol, diesels are the standard here in 4x4's for the last few decades...
Although I do own a petrol 4L 180kw V6 2wd Toyota Hilux myself as you can see my side mirrors say it all lol.

I’ve had two pickups. Not the Tacoma’s Still running one daily for my work truck. New aluminum head with oversized springs and goodies. 22re. Bad little trucks. Tall skinny tires. Off road capable as hell

That generation of the Hilux and what we got were the just the pickup, in 96 the Tacoma came out 2.4L, 2.7L, 3.4L gas engines all about the same sized as the Hilux. In 2005 is when the Tacoma became bigger and wider closer to a T100 sized rig.

He likes his Land Cruiser's and Hilux's has a few.
I think you guy's got the Bundera with 22r petrol same as here but you never got the Toyota Troop Carrier (Troopy)?.

Pulled this 29 Chevy out a shed few months ago it was a sedan someone modded it and made it into a ute a long time ago. It might have been one of the 1st Aussie utes back in the day lol.
