Been working on a 180 for a neighbor, thing won't idle. I tried a carb from an 025, it bolted rite up but would not run the saw, then the easy start went cablooy.
He told me to just buy a new carb for it and if I could get a normal starter for it, do that.
So I went to HL SUPPLY & they have an after mkt. carb. with all 3 adjustments for that saw.
I ordered the carb. & also an after mkt. starter, also a bunch of small parts for a husky I'm working on. I ordered on the 25th & it comes in the mail on the 27th.
I put the carb on, had to drill holes in the case & one thru the handle bar for all the new adjustments, carb works great, saw runs great, starter also.
I have always had good service from HL, but two day shipping Florida to Minnesota. :applaudit:

I get good service from them also. The reason the 025 carb wouldn’t run the saw is the suction port on the intake side of the carb. It should be a wt-215. Look at the 180 zama carb & the 025. The hole is 180 degrees off. It usually has an indention so you can drill it. Don’t plug the other hole. The rubber boot will block it.
