Sure could use a nice motor. I got ripped off.
I had a 9.5 older sportwin years ago took it in to have the carb rebuilt. Drop a hundred on the table waited for a call.
After a month of not hearing anything I go to pick it up. The owner tells me there working on it I told him I was here to pick it up sick of waiting not hearing anything.
He talks me into leaving it with them said he would call if it needed anything more than a carb rebuilt. Also talked about wanting me to remove some dead Ash on there property line. I told him I would think about the trees but want my motor done. After another month goes by he calls me up wanting to know what he wants him to do to the motor it has no compression. I asked him if he was talking to the right customer. He assured me he was. I told him it has compression or I would have not takin it to him. Also said it the first thing your you should have checked. He tells me if I know so much why did I bring it to them. I told him I was coming to get it he tells me I owe him another 280 on top of the hundred I left. I said to him you were not going to do anything other than a carb rebuild why would it cost this. He tells me of alot of other work that was done that I had no idea they were doing to it.
I told him to stick it up his fatfukingazz is what he could do with it. I wasn't paying that open up a case with the BBB.
I think they worked me out if it because it was in great shape. I should have went to the sheriff and took him with me.
I washed hands with it *freakin' crooked people.
