Not really if the compression is the same it will run right beside a NA of the same build it will just have more top end than a NA build.
My comment however was for the impeller. Turbos don't like oil or anything like hitting them while they are going.
This was after twenty seconds when my filter came off and they were laying new gravel on the range.
The wear won't be as bad or as fast since the oil from a two stroke are still moving pretty fast and the impeller on the exhaust side are built pretty strong. But there will be wear still. The failure of a turbo will usually be due to imbalance on the shaft. Wear will cause that imbalance.
I actually had a simular idea awhile back to do a toy clone saw the same way. I hope the next build off can be the 880 clone for the poors like me. However I don't see much improvement to be made since you don't have that up stroke for exhaust like a 4 stroke.
