Has anyone ever run into the situation of a factory warranty claim on a ported saw?
I'm guessing that a porting job immediately voids the warranty, so on a new saw, no reason to send in the registration?
Or...do the warranty repair guys not even bother to look inside?

How about a muffler mod?
Would that affect a warranty claim?
Its externally visible, so it might catch someone's attention.

Any mod, would void a warranty... if they were to look and feel it was part of the problem.. or some dealers, would like to use it as an excuse...

I wonder how often a pro saw modifier runs into a warranty claim just before starting port work?
