I remember that, was the first time I participated/donated to the saw crowd. Skippy still has the 385xp Terry did for that raffle and I will say, that saw is a special one. I got the chance to run it at a gtg and wow.
My contribution to this issue is in the link Dave posted. Info was out there if people just did some research before picking him for saw work.

I do remember that. Had nearly forgotten.

Messing stuff up.....that would not be enough for me to start this thread though Randy. Hell, we all make mistakes.

When an Amish fellow called me a few weeks ago, and told me he paid for saws he never got, and asked me if he paid me for a saw would he really get it.....well, that's when I started considering speaking up. Then in the last 24 hours, two more people contacted me with basically the same story.

Wow this is so bad in so many ways I really hope everyone at least gets there Saw's back sad that you all helped this guy and for him to do all this bad it's people like him that messes up every thing for everyone else who are trying to do right in life pisses me off big time.

I considered him a couple years ago, but after finding info that it could take up to 13 months to get a saw, and that he was having health and work location issues, I decided against doing business with him.

Hell I'm slow. Especially on used or oddball saws. I've had some saws well over a year before I finally got around to doing them. I can't fault anyone for taking a long time to get a saw done. Once I got behind, I never was able to get caught back up.....I get it.

Communication is key in any business though. You can't hide from people. If you answer the phone, and return messages, most people are ok with waiting to get a good custom job done. Hell how long is the wait to get a custom rifle built?

Stuff like this with Terry.....like taking money from a man in New Zealand, and never sending him a saw. Now that stuff hurts all of us guys that do this for a living.

Who wants to send money to another saw builder after getting long dicked by one already?
