I found this come along for sale on Facebook market place and reached out to the guy. He was willing to ship it and the price was more than $100 less than new after shipping. It's a 2 ton winch. Should be large enough for what I'm doing. Anyone use one similar? Made in the food old USA.

I been using one of those for many years, pulled down many a tree & unstuck many a truck.
When you use the doubler pulley where do you hook the cable end to? My normal come along I can take the hook off and hook the cable end back to the body of the come along but not sure if this one is like that... care to explain if you know?

I also need a handle for it. Might see if I can scrounge up an old Jack handle. The guy selling said he lost it and was using an old wooden dowel. I told him to keep it, I'd find something.

Use a piece of pipe for the handle, this ain't no kids toy.
Yeah I know. Dont know what size I would need yet. Was just thinking an old Jack handle would be the right size (diameter). Maybe a piece of black iron pipe would work.

I’ve always used one called Lug All, no issues in 25 years.

I saw thost when I was looking up the Wyeth-Scott. They looked nice but I wasnt sure about the handle. Being off to the side makes me think it's the weak link.

Pulled many big trees down with it, cranked it till I couldn’t pull it anymore and the handle looks as good as the day I bought it!

I have one of those. The handle is DESIGNED to be the weak link. I like it for overhead stuff since it is AL.

Som I'm going to go buy it. I'll either keep it or maybe flip it for $150 if I can. It's worth more than $60 though!
