No, based on what I see in Billy Ray's youtube videos. Which was why I asked:
I read it as a statement not a question. I think in his videos when no one else is around hes just in the zone... go go go. When hes working with others in his videos hes not talking over them or anything. Some of his small rants get long in the tooth but I haven't found it annoying...
Know who I haveba hard time watching? Cottontop3. Just cant really get into the mood for his content or the way he delivers it. Nice guy and I have respect for him but...meh.

Yea US and Cantanadia are different. I liked Yukon Gold. I believe it was on Discovery channel. It only was on for the first two seasons in the US I think it was, it ran I think four seasons in Canada though. I still need to get the last ones of Netflix, which is the only place they show up. I don't have it and never have I just see Google tells me they have it.

So far the new Axmen sucks as bad as the few previous seasons. Its all scripted and re-enacted. Watch what happens in the back ground during the drama scenes.

Most if not all reality TV is scripted BS.

I’m sure you know it takes time and money to make a show, so they have to script it. Otherwise they be there for weeks,, costing heaps and they would be running behind schedule.
It may seem bs to us but, it’s really made for the masses of peeps that know nothing. It’s like most thing you can take it or leave it..
I have my places that I visit, it’s up to me if I return or skip it. With bucking.. i think its ok to see him away from his own youtube channel.
As for the rest of the season 10, I will take it as it comes.

Anyhow my 3rd party app “popcorn” got its certificate revoked, :( so it maybe a few days before it gets fixed and I get to see the next show
;)

Edit. Bucking was with reg coats, they did a vid or two, wondering through some park/woodland. It was cool to see him not cutting trees and seeing him from a slightly different angle.
If you go to reg coats channel you can hear him talk about bucking in the vid called tv or YouTube, that’s iirc..:)
As with all things in life ymmv.;)

I enjoy Buckin Billy's YouTube vids..big old McCullochs especially. Happy for the guy getting an opportunity to to do what he likes and make some $$$. Reality TV implies, in it's name, it's real. It is not. It's a lie. Sometimes entertaining like other TV shows....but reality it is not. To each their own I suppose.

Disclaimer: I am not reading this from a script.

I tried watching it last night. Made it 10 minutes in and turned it off. Just couldn't stand watching all the made up drama to see Buckin' and logger Wade's 10 minute moment. Im just going to stick to their YouTube channels. Shame because that show could be real interesting. Look up Dainel Boones Logging Videos on YouTube. If ax men was like some of his logger interviews he has i bet more people would enjoy it.

That's why swamp loggers didn't make it. Was a great show but Bobby didn't play to their reinacting scripted desires. They did do stuff like when going to a parts store they went first, got releases signed dropped off crew and sent him back down the road to film him showing up to the store. It's things like that that he said took forever to film wasted time in his day and he said they bugged the crap out of him wanting an interview when his hose blew in the loader or whatever with a truck in the hole being loaded and a line waiting to go right behind them.

I am a Forester that my main job is basically running loggers. I can spot all the fake BS point out all the fake stats on tree size and truck weight etc. I still find it entertaining for what it was. I really liked swamp loggers. I have a logging buddy of mine that met Bobby and spoke with him at a show that said these things as also his article in Southern Logging Times.

I watch it when time allows and take it for what it's worth, mindless entertainment.
A person gets to see nice country, pretty cool equipment and timber hitting the ground.
It beats listening to Kim wonder if her butt grew 2 sizes overnight.

I thought last nights show was better than the first. I dont feel its scripted. They get the footage of them and tell the story how ever they want. In some cases it doesnt actually match what's really going on and I think we can see right through the story they are trying to weave.

I can definitely see Old man Rygard being a hot head. Just like any old farmer I've worked for they have little tolerance for BS and equipment setbacks. Help how ya can but mainly stay back when they are venting, 15 minutes later they have moved on and are back to normal.

Theres a lot of little exaggerations though. What ever. It's supposed to increase the wow factor and keep people entertained thst dont know the truth. Take it for what it is. Seriously, like last night they said Logger Wade had a few weeks to log 50 acres and he was going to do it with himself, big daddy and big momma... just the three of them...? Um no. They have Steevie and another skidder operator at least on their jobs.

Billy better have an alarm system cause every junkie in fifty miles just got a look at their potential next fix. Damn shame that is world we live in now days.
I caught a peek of his shop in an old video he did. Nice toys indeed.

I do believe I would enjoy swap logging on a boat in the summertime. Ax men, in the mush, logging, in an east coast swamp, not so much.

I'm definitely not saying the contrary. Just saying when they get frustrated you dont want to be in the middle of it.
