I got this 10-10 handed down and she’s really clean and totally complete

A few months ago I did a prelim tear down and replaced the gaskets.
I believe she help pressure and vac but don’t remember.

She starts on the 1st pull but lacks balls in the cut.
Became hard to tune after a few cuts.
(Seals?Rings?Both?Tune?)
I’m thinking about throwing up my hands on this one.

I'd be inclined to move this to the saw forum. There are plenty of guys here that know that saw well enough to give you some excellent advice.

(I'm not of them) LOL

Thank you gentlemen.

I’ve been pretty backed up with work and sidejobbing and the brain is running lean. Might be time to farm this one out.

Working on these macs isn’t my favorite thing in the world.
Seems like you have to do a tear down to get anything apart.

I’m wondering if it’ll benefit from a porting and if so I’d love to get her to someone else for hotrod monster ripper saw build.

It’s a really cool saw to have.

I guess it never did

@mirage check out my YouTube channel Sept '19 under McCulloch 10-10 and McCulloch 10-10 take 2
All issues were taken care of, bearing, seals, piston & rings, carb, ignition etc. with NOS parts.
This being a standard 10-10 motor, not a pro mac, as the insides didn't match the outside, unfortunately.
