When I noodled that first chunk, it sounded like it was lean popping.... not sure if the auto tune was still doing its thing or I have leak some where...

Nice job Austin! Sounds real good. [emoji106]
You did good. [emoji16]

Next time you noodle, try and keep tip slightly lower than the rear and see if it makes a dufference, vs. Rocking back and forth. I have found that chips clear a little better that way.

It’s normal on mtronic/autotune on the first cut or two it runs a touché fat then they sort themselves out from what I can tell.

Hmmm... I'll have to make more cuts with it to see if it will knock it off. I'll be going to my grandmother's for a camp out this up coming weekend and we are going to be doing firewood...:):)

Update... sorry I haven't been on here. I had stuff to do. But I "ported" that 562. I lowered the exhaust and enlarged the intake just a Lil bit. Here's the numbers:

Stock:
Intake: 73
Transfers: 115
Exhaust: 100
Blowdown: 15*

"Ported"
Intake: 80
Transfers: 121
Exhaust: 102
Blowdown: 19*

Today I'm gonna raise the exhaust maybe a few degrees or less.

Check the port heights again with a ring in the bore. Stock should be around 11° bd I believe

I raised the exhaust a lot but the numbers hardly changed besides the blowdown. I must have done something wrong... I'll check again tomorrow
Phase 2 Porting:

Intake: 74
Transfers: 124
Exhaust: 98
Blowdown: 26*

I may have done goofed up something... not sure. :confused:o_O

When I put my 562 together i thought it was going to be a total dog... no torque, loss of rpm, the charge was going to be discharged by the enlarged exhaust. Started up easily, it was the complete opposite... revved smoothly, no bogging ( it only bogged when I hit the throttle because the autotune was still doing its thing). Took it out to do some test cuts and it really woke up. Phase 1 only turned 10,900 in 8 inch hemlock. Now it turns 11,500- 12,000. Has good top end power bit it doesn't have the bottom end torque that I wanted but it runs better than it used to:):aplastao:

Play around with it, maybe you can gain the torque back if you increase the compression somehow ;). Following this thread, good posts.
