We got cooked like lobsters today.

2700 bales in barn now.

Another 400 or so still taunting us.
Did you get a crew of Levi’s friends to help throw them? Most of the high school/college age kids around here wouldn’t have a clue how to throw hay.

You need an accumulator and grapple. My uncle just bought one. Pretty neat.

We got a grapple..

But it don’t protect you from the sun..

Field was too soft to use the trucks, so open station tractor and trailers it was.

Getting closer!!!

Gotta get the duals out of the AG shop..
And install the rear view light.

Then hang all the weights on the front..
It’s gonna be f’ing sexy...

Looking good, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a 9600 with no cab.

Those are real good looking tractors. My grandpa was always a Ford tractor guy. He still runs New Holland’s but isn’t impressed by them any more.

Pulled RV out for first time this year yesterday. Made it 10ft and then the alternator locked up and broke the serpentine belt. Backed it back into storage unit and now ordering parts. Took an hour to fill up all the tires before I moved it 10ft. Takes awhile to fill big tires to 100 psi.

The alternator would have been a PITA on the road. [emoji848]

my iron horse compressor motor took a dump today. fried the windings. anyone know where i can get a "new" 1.5 hp, 120v electric motor that will bolt on? not wanting to spend the same amount as i would spend on a new compressor. really gonna miss it if can't fix it.
otoh, anyone tell me where i can get a decent, oil lubricated, 20+ gallon compressor for a decent price. used would be okay.

Tractor supply?
Facebook marketplace?
Craigslist?

30 years ago I bought an Ingersoll Rand from Lowe's. 5hp 220 volt. That motor lasted till about 15 years ago. Bought a Harbor Freight replacement that lasted about 3. Went to Tractor Supply and bought a 6 1/2 hp motor and slowed down the speed of the pump by about 30% by changing pulleys.
Unfortunatly, new motors aren't cheap anymore.
