Well, if we wanna talk about other brands...……..

One of the dealer trade books arrived in the mail and on one page Husky has the 572 and on the opposite page Red Max shows the GZ7100, (2172). Obvious question there is: will there be a red version of this saw? My guess is no. Don't think the RM product is doing well enough that they will get their own version of this saw. Or any totally new models that are not Jonsered carryovers. (only my opinion here). These saws can stay in the pipeline for a good while though. When they were dumping the 2166's near the end of the Jonsered run the serial numbers were already 2-3 years old when we got them.

Back to the 572, we are finally getting some hot weather up here in the Northeast. So, what we are going to be looking at here is if there are any hot start complaints. So far not a one, but the temp is still going up. :) Also want to get my hands on some of them to read what carb temps we are reaching, but nobody is bringing them back for anything. Still have yet to see anything above 94 degrees. 130's would be typical for a 562 this time of year.

Great to hear the 572's are still not showing any hot start issues as we get into the summer months and high temps. And so far not hearing any other issues either looks like husky did their homework before releasing this one:) I believe husky has a winner with this saw

When I had mine I flogged it incessantly with heavy load to heat soak it. Regardless of ambient temperature it being heavily loaded constantly it never had any issues. I would try to start it after it got real hot and I let it sit for a couple minutes. It always fired easily and quickly, meaning 1 or 2 pulls. That's acceptable in my book.

Went to buy some Stihl saws off of a friend who has a large tree service company. He bought a whole bunch of the latest husqvarna saws. I tried out the 550 mark 2 and the 572 xp. I made a. Package deal on some stihls. Finally got my husqvarna 572xp in today and ran it. My friend who owns the company was really crazy over the 550 mark 2. Wouldn’t stop talking on the power that saw has and how light weight.

Two saws that I love in my collection to this point is the ms 660, for the lust of power and torque, just a monster, when you need to get a lot of large work done quick, one complaint is if your going to use it for a long time is the weight of the saw. Second is my collection of husqvarna 372s they nailed it on power to weight. Let’s see on this 572 xp. If it’s a saw that’s between the ms 660 and the loved 372 xp. I have a good hunch it is.
