I think I’m done with the saw however I may advance and retard the timing a couple degrees and time the cuts to be sure.
Trying to match the chain and drive set up to suit what I expect to see in Tennessee is top of the list right now.

I assuming you ran an 8 pin with a chain that had a little more bite, but I'd be curious to see that if not.

Stroker and all, the torque is there to take advantage of.

I have a couple chains that Dave did up for me, and they have plenty of bite. He makes a good chain!

Was just curious is all, not questioning his chains. I haven't seen anything posted about it.

More curious about taking advantage of the torque since he was slowing down the cut with pressure

I found this, but that was earlier in the build and I believe he made changes in ports and such after.

Different chain, more aggressive for sure.
Same tune, I strapped a tach to her.
Tune wanders a bit. First piss revs after warming up a bit at around 14k.
Piss rev between cuts when hot and it’ll wander to 17K.
Seems nice in the cut though, I wonder if the divider in the RWJ is playing games at no load full throttle.
Either way, it’s holding 11- 12k in the cut depending on pressure.

@Deets066 I still owe you for the brake handle. I haven’t forgot. Honestly I haven’t had a chance to run the solo. I’ve been way too busy with repairs and rebuilds this year to play with my own saws
