Anybody in your area who has it for less.
Walmart was 7, then 9 now 10. It's just plain 30 weigh you still have to add STP to it for the whacky tac that's another tree bucks. I need to find a sale somewhere on bar oil. They also stopped selling pooh-lawn green bottle gallons of earl. Just Zupertec B&C earl now.

TS is good schticky stuffs.

I've noticed that with Wal-Mart (super tech) brand bar oil too. It's almost $11 a gallon up here. For $1.50 more a gallon I use Itasca brand. Comes in a green jug. Good and stringy/sticky. Even mixing it 50/50 with 30 weight it performs well.
That said I haven't had a chance to mill anything yet.

Would an aux oiler solve that?
I'd say yes.

I almost considered canola for a hot minute when cutting in the apple orchards figuring the smoker guys would require it. Spoke to them and they said nah.

Itasca is good oil. Bought it once on the road somewhere. Never see it local.
STP and Poulan can be ordered from Wal-Mart for 9.50 a gallon and sent to a nearby store. 35 minimum order.
Never tried STP bar oil, thoughts? User's?

Don't do it!
Chit'll fling right off the tip. Been there(with reg motor oil), roached long bar, won't make that mistake again.
It could be used in the drip oil at the tip feed. If it gums up nfw!

Would an aux oiler solve that?
Yes it does. but so many things to try in it. I like the simple drip feed on the 40". Just added an HO gear and overclocked bolt to my pump. I'm not putting any canola or veg oil in one of my saws tanks ever again.

I use Itasca every chance I get. It seems more tacky and thicker than TSC oil. I will use TSC oil in the winter though. I'm considering getting an aux oiler on my mill rig though. Given the quantity I use in the mill I'll probably stick with the TSC oil since its cheapest and save the Itasca for everything else.
