@RI Chevy ... yes a 8 and 9 pin can be faster than a 7 pin if you have a @mdavlee ported 390xp to test with... cuts were timed from moment saw hit wood to when the cookie moved from being cut all the way through. 32” bar with semi skip chain in oak. Chain was sharp.

Well broken in stock 572 same b/c 7 pin. 55.39 seconds. These things wake up a lot when they break in. You don’t get that same kind of grunt as the 390 with long bar but she’s impressive for the cc’s.

My money would be on 7 pin full comp … For the Win!!!

When I tested in 19" Red Oak, (w/044 7 pin) the full comp was about 2 seconds faster.
