Built a new toung for it aswell. The one on it was cobbled together from about 12 pieces of short stock, a box of 6011, and weighed about 75 lbs! Took it around the field and got the seal of approval. Will get sides on it here shortly.

Then definitely the 041!
Stihl 041 wouldn't start, by the time I arrived with my PS-6100 in the cars trunk they cut the needed firewood with the blue saw.
Needless to say they didn't cut any spare wood.

This was the second time the same Stihl failed to work.

I told my coworker to throw the 041 in the lake a we were at and get a boat later. ;)

Did you use 4x6 for the two main beams to build the deck on? I just bought a set of John Deere running gear and plan to build a flat bed hay waggon. I believe it was a silage waggon before because it has extra steel guides for the unloader chains. They need to come off then I was going to build on it.

Yep 4x6x12 for the beams

4x4 for the joist

5/4 for the deck

6" construction lags countersunk to tie it all together.

Only bolt the beams to the rear axle and let them float on the front. Run a chain around the beams in the front with about 8" of allowable movement. That way the gear can flex without tearing the deck apart. The chain is to keep the deck from flipping off backwards.

All pressure treated so i dont have to store it inside or oil the wood.

We are heading back out to Glacier this August. 12 hours to Glendive Mt, then another 9 to where we are staying near Browning.
