I often carry semi chisel, full chisel, skip, 72/84 DL chains when I head into the woods. I like to use the right chain type for the job at hand.

I suck at getting loops straight. No patience for it. Coiling the chains isn't an option for me. I cringe when the cutters touch anything other than wood ;)

Interested in a folding type case, softsided, similar to a tool role, that I could store my chains in for transport.

Anyone have ideas or pics of how they manage/transport multiple chains into the field?

I often thought of an old time hook stringer from my kid tackle box scaled up for saw chain instead of hooks with leaders. Best thought,... maybe.

I was thinking along those lines also.
I would be cool with a design that held 4 chains. I was thinking kydex similar material.
