Very nice I like vintage stuff, only thing might be getting tough to find some of the older Onan parts. My uncle has a craftsman gas drive with an onan 16hp but if I remember you can’t get anything for the motor anymore
Parts r still available, but very expensive. So I go to the Onan forum, find used serviceable parts. I also mod and change engines to another manufacturer.

Finally getting the Bobcat 250 on a trailer. I’ve had the trailer frame built for a little while now. Couldn’t decide the rout I was going with it, so it got put on the back burner.

Here's some of mine, had most of them for years.
Miller Passport 180
C&K WF5 Cold wire feeder
Esab SVI300
Esab 4HD feeder
Miller 30A spool gun
Miller Dynasty 300DX
Miller Coolmate 4
Miller Spectrun 2050
Primeweld Tig 225 acdc
Air and water cooled torches.
Angelo I believe the spool gun you have pictured is a Miller 30A, they do work good for doing aluminum, just a little bulky to use.

I’ll bet that’s a machine you could play around with all weekend !!

I’d consider trading the Syncrowave 350LX for a Dynasty 300DX

I've had a couple of Syncrowave 250's, sold both of them and really wish I would have kept one they a great machines, I would keep your 350LX it's a sweet machine! Dynasty's are nice and do come in handy from time to time but if one of the boards go they are stupid expensive to repair. There are a boat load of pro's out there that still use transformer based power supplies and their welds look robotic.

I absolutely love my Synchrowave, I'm looking forward to really messing around with frequency and high pulse rates one day, and for that, its the Dynasty 280DX or the Everlast PT325EXT .............. less than 1/2 the cost of the Dynasty

A friend of mine just picked up a 280DX oh my!! It has a much better low end arc than my 300 and just about as powerful, my 300DX is quite a few years old I think they have refined the performance of the Dynasty's now days. My brother picked up a 210DX tig runner pgk. and it has a super smooth low end as well, does 1/4 " aluminum no problem with straight argon, with a little helium mixed in I'm sure he could do 3/8ths. Cool thing on the 280 I believe it's pretty much the same size has the 210? My brother had the Everlast prior to getting the Miller 210 and he said there is no comparison. He bleeds blue. LOL To bad the name brands are so freaking expensive..

Angelo, Are you taking about the spool gun? If so they are used mostly for doing non ferrous "Aluminum" it's so soft the the wire doesn't feed well in most mig guns unless you replace the liner with a teflon one. HTP makes a couple of Mig units that can be bought with mig guns set up for doing aluminum "teflon liners" and I have heard they work very well. Actually HTP's line up of Tig welders are very nice as well.

Just finished the restoration on this Miller Bluestar 2E. Welds really good. I repair and rebuild Miller, Hobart and Lincoln engine driven welders.

There’s one of those at the house you need to get a hold of, along with a 200 AEAD Legend & an SA250 with the Perkins.

That Legend welds so much better than a Bobcat.

What do I weld with? Whatever is close.

Millermatic 250/251
Dialarc 250
Idealarc 250
Miller Bobcats, Legends, Trailblazers,251D
Stinkin’ Lincoln SA200, 300, Yad, Yada, Yada.

That’s dad & little brother’s main gigs.
Dad owned & ran his fab shop for 30 years: he’s now the Chair for the Tech School Welding program.
He has to tote all his certs in a wheelbarrow.

Little brother is a gasline rig wella.

Me, I just wear the hats & weld when I need it.
