That's real learning, Jeff. First hand trial and error always trumps things/technique/ideas being passed down. I'm not saying I havent had or havent given pointers to people before, but you dialing in your own setup is paramount for your success.

Gee Dave, I missed that you had a big saw up there at the cant … I'll participate next time … with one of my Asian 660s! I must have been focusing on the round wood at the time!

Jeff, not sure why but that belly B+C was not doing your 660s justice. I know that is a strong saw, but I believe I bested you with a 28" bar and square file, so it was not the length of the bar!
Yeah, the belly bar don’t make it slower. Just the chain
