That's real learning, Jeff. First hand trial and error always trumps things/technique/ideas being passed down. I'm not saying I havent had or havent given pointers to people before, but you dialing in your own setup is paramount for your success.

Finally got to test some saws today. The wood isn't great, but it needs to get cut up before I go looking for more.

Jeff, not sure why but that belly B+C was not doing your 660s justice. I know that is a strong saw, but I believe I bested you with a 28" bar and square file, so it was not the length of the bar!

Probably more user error and bad tune than a bad chain Keith.
I'm just not used to that new bar yet.
Not taking anything away from the other saws that all beat me.
