There is a kit to convert to the non easy start. New flywheel dogs and the old style recoil. Part # 181-160-170

Converted this saw just to see how it felt.

This saw came from a package of stuff purchased from another dealer last December. Sold it to a local farm just across the road.

I'm thinking it's time for a base gasket delete on the 5105. Anyone done this and is there typically enough room?

Yes I have cut with that saw. It's a go getter for sure and I have visited with Carl about a port job.....

PS-5015 is still listed in german 2019 catalog.

No longer listed are PS-222TH, PS-350SC, PS-460 and PS-9010.

The ps-460 was a silly saw if you ask me. The power of a 421 and the size of a 5105.

Gut the muffler, enlarge stock muffler outlet, get Your chains sharper - those are the simplest mods.
