Sent an EBay seller back a bad piston for my MS660.
Tossed a line @ the neighborhood creek & lake...not a bite.
Stopped by and talked to an old high schoole bud...he's 58 yrs old & still hanging with 20 yrs olds! LOL

Your bud, sounds McConaughey from Dazed and Confused lol

Nocked down an ash tree. Had my little nephew and my two kids with me. I schooled my son how to use wedges to make the tree go where ya want. It was leanind pretty hard into the wood and we wedged it out into the feild. Only took four wedges. Two at each side.
We split about half the load by hand then i said heck with that and finish up at home with the splitter.
After that did some cleaning in the yard. Loaded my trailer with scrap metal. Metals going to a friend who can use the extra cash.

Then went for bike ride with kids had suppor and now relaxin. Was a pretty good day.

Found this in a husky 61 today.D8C3DF50-AFF2-49A2-80E6-65CD6E4277B8.jpeg
Probably common for some of y’all, but made me snicker a bit after a day of being wound tight as an e string on a banjo and pretty close to popping. It’ll become a hybrid 61/272.

Yeah, the crater in the road bed kind of gives that away..

Retired pro logger neighbor has an 084 and bar that could handle it...but then tons of wood need moved and the road repaired, time for the heavy equipment. Doubt the forest service will get to it this summer with all the back log from the rest of the downed trees.

Much longer hike now for me & the dog for our favorite view!

Over the last few days I have put in more tile to drain the field, pushed trees out out the fields and picked up more rocks and add sticks than I care to talk about. I think this one farm we cleaned up today will grow better rocks than corn

At about 3:00 today I finally got caught up with my Tax Work, first time in about 2 months, felt good not to have a "To Do" pile!

And the weather was nice, so I put the new outer spike on my 462, and I repaired a 460 that was dropped off about a month ago. Was told the 460 would start, but would not keep running.

Anyone want to guess what was wrong?

Here is the 462 - Caution - the muffler mod pictured is not approved by the Saw Lords. Also, I posted the weight of the spike and nuts/bolts cause I knew that Ryan would want to know.

I checked the air filter first, it did not look bad at all, went to check the plug and it was loose … problem found! Changed the plug, cause it did not look good, and the fuel filter, cleaned the air filter and it popped on the 3rd pull (after sitting for over a month) and started 2 pulls later.

I wish they were all that good!

Now that my busy Tax Season is finally over, I went shopping for a new Saw Hauler. The Mustang is staying put, but the 2010 Escape has seen better days and will be traded in.

I checked out Rangers, but they seemed too small. Then I saw a real nice F-150 XLT, extended cab, Velocity Blue, 4X4, tow hitch, navigation and back up camera. Trouble is, price was way too high! They dropped the price over 20% and I could not resist. It drove real nice, very responsive and smooth (Ecoboost and 10 speed Auto), and mileage ratings of 19 City and 24 Hyw … how could I say no!!!

I'll be picking it up on Friday … wish me luck!!!
