The little Allen that holds the front of carb down backed out. I ran one tank with out any problems. When I rolled it flywheel side down, to do a back cut, I heard the cling cling of fins ejecting. I now found the screw wedged between the flywheel and ignition module. I’m seriously thinking of clearing out all my saws and keep my 362 and buy a 661 and be done with fixing.

Don’t feel bad; I lost a recoil bolt on a 660 I rebuilt for the 2nd time. Yank the starter, saw fires up, I hear ‘clinkety-clinkety-clack-clack-clinketyclackety-PING’ so i shut it down. Pop off the recoil; found the missing bolt..... and all the plastic fins missing off of the flywheel. Saw ran like a champ though.

I think we’ve all been at this stage at one point or another with these things. I know I have. I just about despise looking at one particular saw in my shop it will go down the road eventually but at the moment it still has a home here. It reminds me not to get too deep cash wise in things that aren’t worth it every time I think about it.
