Made our yearly trip to bass pro the other side of toronto. Anout 2.5 hours away. Not too far i guess but a good day trip.
Man i would ho nuts if i had to drive with those idiots. On way home we syopped at a strip mall in toronto and some retard in a little pos tesla car pulls out of a parking garage thing and blows rite through stop sign and would have hit me if i never layed on horn. He must have thought he was something special. I pointed at the stop sign he blew through and he hold his hand up rubbing his thumb on his fingers. Whats he telling me he has money and can do what he wants. Should have let him hit me and wait for cops then break out the dash cam vid.

Other then that was a good day. Got a few goodies.

Hey Shep, it a 22/250 with a new Pac-nor barrel, new barrel has only fired about 30 shots.

Love that setup.
Had a Ruger M77 22/250 and Sako Finnabear (spelling??)270 years back my absolute all time favorite combo. Angle of trajectory identical on both calibers. Took buck @ 600 yds. with 22/250. Later that season 270 claimed one @ 600.

Im really enjoying this 22-250, its story started many years back when i found it in a gunshop real cheap with a burnt out barrel, i couldnt resist the stock and action wernt abused and bolt still showed the jewelling marks. Saved for a while and sent it to the gunsmith, almost chambered it to 22-250AI, but as i already had standard 250 dies i kept its original chambering.
Glad i did its a great rifle.
Might get a few inches of the barrel length in time as its a bit nose heavy.

So let me get this straight, yall ain't packing hand guns up there. So this guy wants to indicate he has "money" with only his hands to save him?

That's a good way to get your ass rolled for your wallet and phone.

Nope. Cant cary hand guns here. The gun laws here suck. Have to have a permit just yo go from house to range with a hand gun.

I never bothered to get my restricted licence. Figured not worth the extra hasle.

Ilhope this guy gets his @$$ handed to him someday. Makes all kinds to make this world go round.

Well, if my Dad were still alive he would have turned 100 today. Surly part of the Greatest Generation, he grew up during the depression, was in the reserves when WW II broke out, was 1 of only 2 guys who were still in the unit and returned at the end of the war (all the rest were replacements) (771st Tank Destroyers). When the War was over he didn't get to come home, since he spoke both Italian and German fluently, he helped them document the stories of the Concentration Camp survivors.

He returned home a fallen down drunk, but somehow recovered and (while working full time) went to school at night and first got his Accounting Degree, then his Law Degree, graduating with honors from NYU. He was a workaholic the rest of his life, but always put family first.

Some of his favorite sayings:

Quality will be remembered long after the price paid is forgotten.

Handsome is as handsome does.

Mother Nature gives you the first 40 years, after that you better work on it.

Whether you are rich or poor, it is nice to have money.

Pick the lean horse for the long race.

Got my dads little dolmar out and desided to give it a try. Cut a few cookies with it and put back in the case. He has been gone four years today. Sure miss him.
Felt good to cut with his saw.
