Yep. I worked there as the mechanic for the past 3 years. Best job I ever had. I miss it already....
Anyone on 2 wheels will get a wave from me, and would be more than welcome to roll down the road with me as well.
I dont give a chit what brand a guy is on.

Unless it's one of those homo hipster scooters that only go 35mph. I think everyone ignores them. :D
20181201_214031.jpgThis is the best I got. It tags the limiter at 73. Plan on a flat top piston,DCR cam and regear hoping to get 80+ on stock bore. I'll try to get a better pic this was middle of the pipe, intake, tuner install.

How hard can it be to take down 185' of field fence? Way harder than anticipated. Took me my entire day's worth of energy and there's still a piece that's buried in the ground and grown into by the roots. Hope the installation of new fencing goes smoother.

I loved working up those smaller Honda engines. I would go nuts with boring and stroking and then re-working the valves and ports to make them breathe.

The best was an early Honda 50 that I took from 49cc to 104cc. The valve work to make it breathe should have been impossible, but I was too young (17) to know any better. It won the 0-175cc class at Lions Drag Strip.

Now it is a lot easier with the big bore and stroking kits - no replacement for displacement!

Compressin and cam seems to be the short comings on the grom motors. Cam starts to go flat at 7k and the compression is set to run on what ever garbage you can dump in the tank. Flat top piston will get it to 10.5-1 and the dcr cam will make power to 12k. Should be fun and reliable at that point till the big end of the rod gives up.

You have no control over it? ie, it won't go up or down? And the other hydraulics are working normally?

Yea it won't go up or down, other hydraulics work perfectly. I'm thinking I might have ice in the valve body.

Not sure what all you've done but I would crack the line going to the valve and see if you have any flow there. Then, if you do, crack the line going out of the valve body and see if you have flow there. If your fluid doesn't have water in it (milky colored) then it's not likely you have an ice buildup anywhere.

I'm getting enough back from my taxes to go get my CDL. Its always been a dream of mine to have a class A and drive for a living. Should I do it? I'm kind of over this working my ass off for a paycheck nonsense (read working physically)
