Doing brakes on my Malibu and oil change when I noticed this... not sure if it's a crank in the cross member yet or not. Will have to inspect more in a few. Time to sell? It was a southern car and didnt have much of any rust. This is only the second winter it's been through but has high miles. It might be just the paint coming off the frame...

Just buy the socket! Its like 5 bucks!
.The first time i seen an ecotec in a cavalier many moons ago i had to do an oil change to it. First time i had ever seen a canister filter. Stuck a small pipe wrench on it too! Now everybody uses the canister filters and if you dont have an array of sockets it impossible to make time on an oil change!
Definently cant use a pipe wrench the get the filter on a mini cooper.

It wouldnt be so bad if you could get a normal socket on it but the damn intake is in the way!Just buy the socket! Its like 5 bucks!

I lost it somewhere north of 140 too. Shes an oldie! A red oak we harvested was twice as old!
