I have a NOS 2100 piston and cylinder on the shelf as a sample and a running 2100 and 394 and 395 on the shelves to test with when we get them off the ground, probably about $140 each though delivered, lighter, faster, wider and more badder asser than stock

That's not nearly as bad money wise as I would have thought, some folks might go for that in a ported work saw even. Keep up the good work Dave, you're all right I don't care what Dallas says about you. Lol

does the wiseco require the saw to be warmed up before cutting.
Or can you rampage with it from cold start.

Even in cold start racing, the saws get warmed up ahead of time. I would never recommend rampaging on any cold saw even a bone stock model. Nothing special is required to use these pistons.

Little more skirt length, and more skirt width. Say .030 more on the skirt, and 10% wider. Then move the ring gap. I think there is room for that much skirt length to travel into the case.

And slab side 7910 style actually

Dave are those pistons in the pic coated or ano'd? Looks like ano, then they machine to final diameter.

How bout stock Stihl plating?
Or are you getting away from the 1 mm steel rings?

for all future Stihl models we will be using 1.2mm rings instead of the 1mm chrome faced rings so we wont have any plating issues

when it is time for the 7910 and 6400 series pistons we will make them faster, wider, louder, lighter, more sexy etc, just like our other models
